The aim of the project for the customer was to develop new applications and their technical solution concept in two growth areas. The concepts focus on what specific added value the solutions can bring to the company's customers and how these can be implemented in a technically sensible way.
In the first step, our experts gained a general overview of innovations in the growth areas and created a hypothesis-driven elaboration of customer segments and customer needs. Existing solutions on the market and emerging innovations were identified, categorized and evaluated.
In creative workshops, we outlined and narrowed down new solution concepts together with the client. Technological feasibility and the best possible fulfillment of customer needs were always taken into account. Finally, an illustrator visually captured the group discussion and the ideas generated.
We provided the client with a comprehensive overview of potential customer segments and customer needs, which served as the basis for validating the corresponding target markets.
In the previously defined subject areas, we categorized existing solutions on the market for the client in a longlist and evaluated them qualitatively. We also compiled detailed technology profiles including potential technology partners for the relevant categories in the defined subject areas.
